You are a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical QC Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of parts and processes at Astrome Technologies. Your responsibilities will include conducting rigorous inspections, implementing quality control measures, and identifying areas for improvement. It will be essential for you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Your primary duties will involve inspecting parts at vendor sites, developing quality control systems, and coordinating with vendors for corrective actions. You must have hands-on experience with all inspection tools and be proficient in inspecting materials, parts, and processes. Collaboration with other departments will be key to achieving the company's goals. Requirements for this role include a Diploma/B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. Please note that only male candidates are being considered for this position. You should have experience in inspecting CNC machined, sheet metal, polymer, and 3D printed parts, as well as the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors. Proficiency in reading part drawings, CMM reports, and preparing inspection reports is essential. A strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes is required, along with knowledge of environmental tests in accordance with product qualification standards such as MIL-STD-810 and QM333. Familiarity with GD&T and ASME Y14.5 drafting standards is also necessary. You should be capable of working independently with minimal supervision and handling additional field activities and responsibilities.
