Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanic Operator to assist with the operation, maintenance, and basic repair of mechanical equipment and machinery. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with basic technical knowledge who is eager to learn and grow in a mechanical or maintenance career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in operating and maintaining mechanical machinery and production equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, inspections).
• Support senior mechanics in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Monitor machine performance and report any irregularities to supervisors.
• Maintain tools and workshop equipment in clean and working order.
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment.
• Document maintenance activities and complete work orders as assigned.
• Learn and apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) and mechanical processes.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Mechanical or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, or maintenance environment (freshers can apply).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical diagrams or manuals (a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work in shifts or overtime, if required.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or machine operations.
• Familiarity with safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Good communication skills and team player attitude.
