Supports project engineering, new product/technology development, product improvement and product standardization, and product qualification projects depending upon the assigned group Works to Develop product design concepts, Detail design, geometry standards documentation and product qualification requirements under the guidance of Technical Leaders Creates part reports, drawings, engineering specifications and standards as per the instructions/requirements Adheres to all relevant work instructions and design guidelines, Standards and Procedures as assigned Develops / updates the 3D models/2D drawings to implement the relevant Design changes/modifications as per the guidelines/instructions of the Technical Leaders This is an individual contribution role, responsible for executing activities assigned by the manager, and execute it with the assigned team under the supervision of team lead/Design Lead Work Experience Required Skills (Technical Competency): Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings Basic understanding of Engineering materials, Manufacturing processes and simple hand calculations required to formulate the design concepts Demonstrated experience in supporting engineering projects constrained by safety, quality, delivery, and cost requirements Understanding in engineering designs, documents, layouts, calculations (Internal and external pressure calculation, Compression, Flow area, thread calculation, material selection, tolerance stack up). Accuracy, dependability, ability to manage schedule and prioritize work for self Desired Skills: - Ability to interpret/understand the instructions clearly and work as a part of a technical team - a self-motivated, self-starter. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with ability to effectively transfer subject matter expertise Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 1-3 Years of experience in field of Component or System/Subsystem level detail engineering for Industrial / Oil & Gas domains Working experience of CAD software Siemens NX, Creo, Solidworks in all modules To be able to Work with minimal guidance & complete the assigned task. Product knowledge on Industrial components, FMCG components, Valves, actuators, Centrifugal compressor, Reciprocating Compressor, Gas Turbines and steam turbine (Rotating equipment) Ability to understand and implement design standards and configuration Ability to work in a global environment
