MECHANICAL FITTER

As a Mechanical Fitter at our Pune location, your primary responsibility will be to swiftly and comprehensively assemble and fault-find mechanical equipment, including sewage fixtures and material handling systems, conveyor systems. You will also be required to take the lead in implementing safe working practices to ensure superior levels of safety and housekeeping, aiming to achieve zero lost time injuries in the workshop. In addition, you will supervise personnel, working hands-on to execute assigned tasks to the required standards, ensuring that standard work practices and procedures are followed. Attending safety meetings, carrying out safety observations, and assisting in controlling consumable and tooling usage to minimize wastage are also part of your duties. Reviewing daily timesheets from shop floor personnel on a daily basis and ensuring that Corporate Engineering Standards are met will be crucial aspects of your role.
