Mechanical Engineering Lead

You will be joining Axial Aero, an aerospace technology company dedicated to advancing next-generation full-motion and full-mission flight simulators. Your role as a Mechanical Engineer will involve taking charge of the entire product development process, starting from concept creation to prototyping and eventually production. The ideal candidate will possess strong fundamentals, hands-on execution skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with experts spanning various fields such as materials, mechanical designs, electronics, aerodynamics, firmware, software, and AI. Additionally, you may have the unique opportunity to visit restricted military or civil aerospace installations, engage with field operators, and interact with esteemed soldiers and officers of the Indian armed forces. Your primary responsibility will be contributing to the development of a field-deployable Aviation simulation platform. This platform will feature realistic cockpit structures, precise motion on 6-DOF motion platforms, and multi-axis rotations with high-velocity centrifugal motion. These technologies are intended for pilot training and operational readiness exercises. If you are passionate about simulation technology, physics-based systems, aviation training, and have a strong sense of patriotism to contribute to Bharats Aatmanirbharata, then this role is tailor-made for you! **Key Responsibilities:** - Proficiency in FEA software (Comsol, Ansys, or similar) - Experience in structural analysis of large welded structures and bolted joint analysis - Proven track record in building fully functional field prototypes - Experience with Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD) or Flex Body Dynamics (Good to Have) - Setting up or managing a mechatronics workshop/laboratory (Good to Have) - End-to-end ownership: concept, design, production, product launch (Good to Have) - Familiarity with global and Indian manufacturing ecosystems and supply chains (Good to Have) - Ability to quickly learn and advise on certification and compliance plans (Good to Have) This role will involve on-site work at our Hyderabad/Bengaluru offices and may require up to 25% travel.,
