One of the main components in designing such lasting and reliable products is the Mechanical engineering and now we are seeking to augment our team with a hands-on mechanical engineer to aid in the manufacturing of these sensors.

Who are we looking for

We are hiring Mechanical engineers specialized in design and manufacturing technologies with the following skills

Education

Hands-on

• Read and create technical drawings
• Assembly process
• 3D Modelling (CAD) preferably Siemens NX or similar
• 2D Drafting
• Assembly Modelling
• PDM/PLM Systems
• General MS Office skills

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
• Material selection with understanding of material science fundamentals
• Manufacturing processes and limitation
• GD& T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Design to cost

Organizational skills

• Documentation and ability to have a professional exchange with colleagues spread across the globe
• Systematic planning and execution
• Understanding of local eco-system

Soft skills

• Good communication skills (English)
• Team collaboration
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking

What kind of an experience helps

With at least 5 years of experience in

• Full product life cycle
• DFM and DFA (Design for manufacturability and design for assembly)
• Working in a heavy industry involving
  • Steel/Welding processes (for instance automotive industry)
  • Chemical industry (Materials, glue, rubber..)
  • Relevant standards (Local to India, ISO, etc.)
• Desirable but not a must
  • Process Instrumentation industry
  • Field installation
