Mechanical Engineer 4 (Energy)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for utilizing your in-depth skills in HVAC systems and facility energy utilities, along with comprehensive knowledge of advanced energy audits, decarbonization feasibility studies, and retrofit assessments. Your proficiency with energy modeling and simulation software (e.g., Trace 3D Plus, eQuest) will be essential. You will also be expected to demonstrate expertise in energy management, energy-efficient technologies, sustainable design principles, and emerging high-performance alternatives. Your role will involve implementing various ECMs for improved energy savings and performance in existing buildings, as well as experience with building automation and control systems. Providing creative solutions to technical challenges, proficient technical report writing, and data analysis will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will train and support entry-level and mid-level energy engineers, showcasing your advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in other MS Office Programs. Any energy-related credential such as CEA or CEM will be considered an added advantage.
