Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design and Drafting:
Create detailed mechanical drawings, schematics, and 2D/3D models of mechanical equipment , components and assemblies. designs, using measurements, specifications and additional data from engineering team.

Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards, including dimensions, materials, and fastening methods.

Coordinate directly with managers to understand requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) and strong knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Engineering Knowledge:
Understanding of basic engineering principles, including mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Associate degree in drafting
Proficient with AutoCAD. Experience with mechanical manufacturing process
Professional certification in mechanical drafting/ vocational trades like Mechanical Draughtsman is often preferred
