Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview: As an opto-mechanical engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing opto-mechanical systems, components, and assemblies for various applications. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical, mechanical, and software design elements. Additionally, you will develop test plans and procedures for prototype systems and components, analyze test data, and iterate designs to improve efficiency, cost, and performance. Key Responsibilities: - Design opto-mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software - Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes for electromechanical systems - Develop test plans and procedures for prototype systems and components - Work with prototype teams to build and test systems, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards - Analyze test data and iterate designs to improve efficiency, cost, and performance Qualification Required: - B.E./B.Tech/MTech in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering - 2+ years of experience in Mechanical designing of Gimbaled based stabilized Electro-optical devices - Desired: Experience in reverse engineering of control systems and 2D and 3D designing of stabilized devices - Preferred: Experience in simulation applications (Note: Additional details of the company are not provided in the job description.),
