Mechanical Design Engineer - Machine Tools

You will be working as an Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Design with our client, a leading SPM, Conveyors & Machine Tool Manufacturing Company based in Pune (Pimpri). Your primary responsibility will be to generate detailed mechanical drawings of customized automation systems and develop models and designs from concept. You should have a BE Mechanical degree and possess 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in the automation/ machine tool industry, conveyors, and packaging machine manufacturing industry. Proficiency in CAD Software such as Solid Edge, Solid Work, and AutoCAD is required. Your duties will include generating 3D CAD models, 2D drawings for mechanical components and assemblies of Special Purpose Machines, understanding pneumatics and hydraulics design, and managing drawings & records according to company policy. You will also need to provide timely status updates, coordinate with various departments, and be willing to travel and work at customer sites as needed. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Solid Edge 3D Modelling, be proficient in MS Office, and have general computer literacy. You must be a self-starter, team player, and possess a positive attitude towards work. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines are essential. Continuous self-improvement and innovation are valued in this role. This is a full-time position with 5 days working schedule and the salary will be as per industry standards. You should be willing to join within 15 - 30 days and be available to work weekends and holidays based on customer project commitments.
