As a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) Engineering, your primary role will involve conducting static structural analyses for electrical products such as UPS and Switchgear. Your educational background should ideally include an M. Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiency in FEA Fundamentals, meshing skills, and contact modeling is crucial for this role - You will be responsible for interpreting results and preparing detailed reports based on your analyses - Having a basic understanding of Strength of Materials, Fatigue assessments, Structural Analyses, and Electromagnetics fundamentals is essential - Experience with ANSYS-Workbench & Maxwell will be beneficial Qualifications Required: - M. Tech degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering - Strong skills in FEA Fundamentals, meshing, contact modeling, results interpretation, and report preparation - Basic knowledge of Strength of Materials, Fatigue assessments, Structural Analyses, and Electromagnetics fundamentals - Familiarity with ANSYS-Workbench & Maxwell It would be advantageous if you possess scripting/automation skills and excellent communication abilities. This full-time position is based in Pune and requires 2-3 years of relevant experience. The notice period for this role ranges from 0-15 days. Please note that this job pertains to the Automotive EDA tools category, and you will be expected to work from the office for 5 days a week with a shift timing of 9 am to 6 pm.
