Mechanical Design Engineer (FEA Eng)

As a Mechanical Design Engineer specialized in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) at this company, your role will involve the following responsibilities and qualifications: Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting static structural analysis for Electrical products such as UPS and Switchgear. Your primary focus will be on FEA fundamentals, meshing skills, and contact modeling. Additionally, you will interpret results, prepare reports, and have a basic understanding of Strength of Materials, Fatigue assessments, Structural Analyses, and Electromagnetics fundamentals. Proficiency in ANSYS-Workbench & Maxwell will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct static structural analysis for Electrical products like UPS and Switchgear - Utilize FEA fundamentals, meshing skills, and contact modeling in your analysis - Interpret results accurately and prepare detailed reports - Demonstrate a basic understanding of Strength of Materials, Fatigue assessments, Structural Analyses, and Electromagnetics fundamentals - Proficiency in ANSYS-Workbench & Maxwell - Optional: Possess scripting/automation skills and excellent communication abilities Qualifications Required: - M. Tech degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering - Relevant experience as an FEA Engineer - Strong understanding of FEA fundamentals, meshing skills, contact modeling, and results interpretation - Basic knowledge of Strength of Materials, Fatigue assessments, Structural Analyses, and Electromagnetics fundamentals - Familiarity with ANSYS-Workbench & Maxwell This position is based in Pune and requires 2-3 years of relevant experience with a notice period of 0-15 days.,
