Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman with hands-on experience in Solid Edge for preparing 2D & 3D mechanical drawings. The candidate should be capable of creating fabrication, machining, and assembly drawings with accuracy and following industry drafting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D models and 2D detailed drawings using Solid Edge (Mandatory).
• Create fabrication, machining, and assembly drawings with BOM.
• Draft sheet-metal, welded, and machined components.
• Revise and update drawings as per design changes.
• Ensure correct dimensioning, tolerances, and drawing standards.
• Coordinate with design & production teams for drawing-related queries.

Required Skills

• Solid Edge (Mandatory)
• AutoCAD 2D & 3D
• Basic SolidWorks knowledge (Optional)
• Good understanding of sheet metal, fabrication & machining
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerances

Software Skills

• Solid Edge
• AutoCAD (2D)
• Solid Edge (Mandatory)
• MS Excel, MS Word
