Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies as per specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate construction. Align, position, and secure components manually or with hoisting equipment. Utilize hand tools and machinery for assembly tasks. Conduct quality inspections to verify that assembled components meet required specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition. Prepare for assembly by reviewing part lists and gathering necessary materials, tools, and subassemblies. Check connections, fasten parts, and adjust alignments to ensure proper fit. Measure completed components to confirm adherence to specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly issues, escalating complex problems when needed. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools, following manufacturer guidelines. Follow workplace safety protocols and maintain compliance with company procedures. Complete production and quality documentation as required.
