Role & responsibilities

PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure processing of spice products in the processing facility to meet the required

specifications and food safety requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure processing of spices and spice products in the plant

• Ensure that the processed material meets the required customer specifications

• Ensure availability of Raw Material for the planned processing

• Ensure appropriate measures for preventive and break down maintenance of plant

• Assist in installation of new machines and equipment

• Attend to periodic repair and maintenance of processing facility

• Provide guidance to service provider staff in operating electrical, electronic and

mechanical machines and equipment

• Perform machine settings as per desired products during production runs

• Maintain operating specifications for machines and equipment

• Responsible for maintaining GHK, GMP and hygiene standards on shop floor

• Assist in quality and other audits

• Assist in customer visits and other plant visits

• Coordinate with the maintenance team to establish and implement preventive

maintenance mechanisms for plant machines and equipments

• Minimizing the electrical cost by proper maintenance of the electrical equipment's

• Yield management for finished goods and ensure adherence to procedures to maintain

quality

• Perform shift activities along with necessary electrical & mechanical maintenance

• Ensure compliance of processing facilities to quality systems and other statutory

regulations

• Keep updated with electrical and mechanical aspects of modern machines and

equipment in food processing

• Responsible for data entry in ERP

• Responsible for targeted production in his shift operations

• Ensure strict adherence to customer specifications and statutory regulations for

production
