As an After Sales (BackOffice) professional in our organization, your role involves planning and executing AMC visits, attending breakdown calls, and coordinating with the Head Office team for problem resolution. You will be responsible for reviewing spare parts at the site and advising customers on critical parts, as well as providing system operation and maintenance training to operators. Taking the lead in improving system availability, resolving snag lists, and dismantling and assembling new equipment/assemblies are also part of your responsibilities. It is essential to maintain and document records of error resolution. Your responsibilities will include providing telephonic support to resolve issues, offering operational and maintenance training to operators, and focusing on improving and maintaining system availability. You will have the authority to customize onsite project schedules as required. Key Results Areas (KRAs) that you will be evaluated on include Business Growth & Profitability, Site Commissioning & Support, and embodying GKSC leadership principles. The essential qualification for this role is a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering. It is preferred that candidates have the same qualification. You should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field of Electro-Mechanical maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Pharma Industry as a preference. In terms of technical skills, you should possess an understanding of Engineering drawings, knowledge of maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, the ability to eliminate vibrations/sounds from machines through mechanical alignments, and the capacity to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, drawings, service manuals, and work orders for maintenance work. Competencies required for this role include good oral and communication skills, a customer-oriented approach, and strong problem-solving abilities.
