Role Overview: As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out structural calculations, verifying designs, and proposing advanced structural schemes for efficient and fast-track construction. You must have an understanding of complex structural engineering loads such as Blast and Sea, as well as various analysis methods. Your role involves reviewing building structural drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, relevant standards, and classifications while meeting project deadlines. Collaboration with other project engineers and effective communication with clients and suppliers are essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Providing technical designs to customer projects and services teams leveraging your technical knowledge and expertise in a specific application domain or subdomain. - Identifying and understanding customer technical requirements within your application domain/subdomain. - Applying internal procedures, standards, and best practices autonomously within your application domain/subdomain. - Communicating results internally and to customers, presenting and justifying them during project technical reviews. - Potentially providing commercial arguments to project teams or management and reporting potential technical risks. Qualification Required: - Degree qualification in Civil/Mechanical Engineering. - 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field. As a Structural Design Engineer, it is expected that you have experience in structural steel design, transportable building, and offshore structures design, as well as blast design. Proficiency in structural analysis software like SpaceGass, StaadPro, and SACS, and FEM software such as Strand 7 is advantageous. Experience in preparing detailed structural calculation reports for customers and coordinating with suppliers and clients is necessary. Proficiency in 3D design software like Revit and Aveva 3D Software is desirable. Moreover, you should have a good understanding of relevant local standards, international standards, offshore standards, and blast design standards. Skills in adapting to overseas standards are also beneficial. Your other skills should include effective communication with all levels of management, the ability to interpret technical specifications and review drawings, strong problem-solving abilities, customer service orientation, and proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access. In terms of project management, your responsibilities will include identifying project scope and key requirements, managing stakeholders, suppliers, internal and client communication, contract management, review of contract specifications, milestone development, progress reporting, and more. Your role also involves relationship management within the organization, maintaining appropriate communication and cooperation, and effective customer management by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, responding to customer requirements promptly, and maintaining professional relationships. Furthermore, you are expected to prioritize health, safety, and environmental considerations, understand and comply with company HSE policies, actively promote safety and environmental consciousness in the workplace, and adhere to quality and safety/security standards throughout projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing international ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 18000 HSE, and ISO14000 environmental standards, and ensuring full compliance with safety standards during project execution. By fulfilling these responsibilities and qualifications, you will contribute effectively to the structural design engineering projects within the company.,
