As a Machine Operator in our steel fabrication department, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of industrial equipment to support our steel fabrication processes. Your role will include working with machines such as press brakes, lasers, plasma and oxy-fuel cutters, saws, machining centers, and other shop equipment. You will operate assigned machines, perform machine setups, review work instructions, and maintain quality standards while supporting different areas of production as needed. It will be crucial for you to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions accurately, measure and inspect parts for accuracy and quality, and perform basic machine maintenance to ensure smooth operations. To qualify for this position, we prefer candidates with a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience in steel fabrication is a plus.
