As a Quality Manager at our organization, your key responsibilities will include focusing on various deliverables such as reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), Call Rate & Return Reduction, ensuring flawless launches of outgoing products, enhancing QMS, Radar Score, and Supplier Upgradation Roadmap. You will be instrumental in improving the quality maturity progression score, Tier 2 Supplier PPM Reduction, and Rolling Throughput Yield. Your role will also involve building the competency of the team at the supplier through effective training programs. Collaboration with different functions is crucial for formulating New Product Introduction Gate-wise quality deliverables by conducting Quality Risk Assessment sign-off, tracking objectives, and ensuring compliance with validation standards at respective gates. You will be responsible for engaging suppliers on PPAP, run@rate delivery, and executing APQP on Finished Goods bought out parts. Establishing process controls, quality systems, and critical touchpoints will be essential to review the performance of new products for the first 6 months post-launch and ensure flawless launches and early care of new products. Driving Built-in Quality through the identification of critical stations/parameters and deploying preventive product/process controls for these parameters will be a key aspect of your role. Ensuring that the Touch & Feel of the product meets Global standards is imperative. Creating a culture of shop engagement through Plan-Do-Check-Act, Problem Countermeasure Monitoring, Process Stage-wise improvement tracking, and Quality Circles will be part of your responsibilities. Your role will involve risk mitigation through Change Management/validation, establishing Quality Command Centers for effective communication, and continuously connecting with customers/dealers. Upgrading measurement systems, online data acquisition, and error-proofing across suppliers will be crucial for maintaining quality standards. Supporting chronic/sporadic problem resolution and setting up immediate containment measures to protect the customer will be a priority. You will be responsible for raising the Quality flag, authorizing deviation change requests with the support of Engineering, and supporting a leveled escalation system. Assessing various suppliers through radar mechanisms and mapping skills/certifications of all FG quality professionals will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a BE/B.Tech degree with a minimum of 14 years of experience. Additional knowledge of QMS, IMS, Change Management, Six Sigma, Shanin, and DOE will be preferred. As the Factory Quality Head, you will play a crucial role in managing the quality aspects across suppliers, products, processes, and customers (both internal and external). Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance Strategy to ensure the right quality enablers are in place for the entire supplier and manufacturing value chain. This strategic approach aims at driving continuous improvement in overall quality metrics, facilitated by sustainable quality systems that adhere to relevant regulatory compliances. Your duties and responsibilities will involve collaborating with various functions to define quality deliverables for New Product Introductions at different gates, conducting Quality Risk Assessments, overseeing compliance to validation standards, engaging suppliers on PPAP and run@rate delivery, executing APQP for bought-out parts, establishing process controls and critical touch points, monitoring new product performance post-launch, driving Built-in Quality through preventive controls, maintaining Global standards in product quality, fostering a culture of shop engagement through continuous improvement practices, addressing risk mitigation through Change Management and validation, setting up Quality Command Centers for effective communication, upgrading measurement systems and data acquisition processes, supporting problem resolution, authorizing deviation change requests, managing escalations, evaluating suppliers through radar mechanisms, and ensuring the skill development of the factory quality professionals. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) with over 20 years of experience in the Refrigerator Industry. Additional knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Integrated Management Systems (IMS), Change Management, Six Sigma, Shainin, and Design of Experiments (DOE) will be advantageous.
