Reporting into the Cost Lead, you will support project delivery by demonstrating your experience with appropriate projects and building strong relationships with the team. Your responsibilities will include supporting bids and engaging with other areas of the business. Your main responsibilities will include supporting and undertaking feasibility cost estimates, preparing detailed cost plans & BOQ for UAE projects, conducting quantity take-off, and preparing Cost Plan / BOQ from design information at various design stages. You should demonstrate a thorough understanding of UAE construction methodology, identify, communicate, and mitigate risks associated with design and cost estimates, and work closely with the team to optimize deliverables. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering cost plans for occupier and investor clients, ensuring high-quality services from inception to completion. The ideal candidate for this position will have a technical and experience-based QS/CM background with a minimum of 8 years of experience. A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required, while MRICS certification is preferred but not mandatory for the right individual. Experience with Commercial, hotel/hospitality, and residential projects would be desirable, and team management skills are preferable. You should also possess strong verbal, numerical, and report/proposal writing skills, be enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated, flexible, able to work to deadlines, and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, preferably CostX.
