Job Description

As an Associate III - Engineering Design at UST, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that engineering and manufacturing processes are executed with precision and in adherence to the company's quality standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting critical drawing reviews, collaborating with suppliers to address technical issues, and maintaining quality improvement processes. With over 8 years of experience in complex drawing review, particularly in built-to-print manufacturing industries, you will bring valuable insights to the NPD development and quality inspection team. Your knowledge of welding requirements, special process needs for built-to-print commodities, and familiarity with quality management systems will be key assets in this role. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your job, as you will interact with supplier quality engineers, internal teams, and senior management to address manufacturing challenges and drive continuous improvement. Your ability to track and incorporate redline feedback, maintain performance dashboards, and resolve supplier quality issues will be critical for success in this position. In addition to your technical expertise, your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you tackle complex technical issues with a broad impact on the business. Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Six Sigma, and a willingness to adapt to different approaches will be essential in this dynamic role.
