General Manager - Operations and Management - Hospital mau,azamgarh,gorakhpur 5 - 10 years INR 6.0 - 12.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Role & responsibilities The General Manager will be responsible for overall hospital operations , regulatory compliance (including NABH standards), patient experience, revenue cycle efficiency, and smooth functioning of clinical and non-clinical departments. The role requires strong administrative control, decision-making, and the ability to manage medical and support staff while aligning with strategic goals. Key Responsibilities 1. Operations & Administration Ensure smooth, efficient, and safe working of all hospital departments (OPD, IPD, ICU, OT, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, Housekeeping, Nursing, Security, etc.). Develop and implement SOPs , ensure adherence to NABH standards and quality protocols. Oversee staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation. 2. Regulatory, Insurance & Ayushman Program Management Ensure compliance with government regulations and hospital registration norms. Oversee Ayushman Bharat PMJAY operations including billing, coding, package management & audit compliance. Maintain relationships with TPA, Corporate, CGHS, ECHS, and Government Schemes . Lead documentation and audits required for NABH continuation and upgradation. 3. Financial & Revenue Cycle Management Monitor hospital revenue, operational costs, and profitability. Coordinate with Billing, TPA, Finance & Accounts teams for claim submissions & timely clearance. Introduce cost control measures without compromising service quality. Support pricing strategy for procedures, packages, and services. 4. Medical & Clinical Coordination Facilitate coordination between doctors, nursing staff, diagnostic departments, and administration. Assist in onboarding new consultants and medical staff. Conduct regular clinical and operational review meetings. 5. Patient Experience & Quality Ensure excellent patient experience, grievance resolution, and service quality improvement. Conduct patient feedback surveys and implement corrective actions. Drive Safety, Infection Control, and Clinical Quality committees. 6. Infrastructure & Facility Management Oversee maintenance of hospital building, medical equipment, utilities, housekeeping & waste management. Monitor biomedical equipment uptime and vendor service contracts. Required Competencies Strong understanding of Hospital Operations , NABH , Insurance/Ayushman Billing , and Clinical Workflows Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Ability to handle emergency administrative challenges and conflict resolution. Proficiency in MS Office, HIS / EMR systems. Education MBA / MHA / PGDHM / MPH preferred Bachelor’s in healthcare / nursing / medical background is an added advantage.
