Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and technically grounded **Lead Solution Architect AMI Platforms & Systems Integration** with a proven track record in end-to-end AMISP engagements. The ideal candidate would bring in 57 years of deep experience in smart metering infrastructure, having worked in Tier I organizations involved in full-cycle AMI delivery. The role requires both strategic oversight and tactical execution in designing, validating, and delivering interoperable, scalable, and standards-compliant solutions across metering ecosystems. Suggested Designation Lead Solution Architect AMI Platforms & Systems Integration Key Responsibilities Architect end-to-end AMI systems including smart meters, HES, MDMS, integration layers, and customer IT interfacing. Validate solution components across multiple use cases prepaid, postpaid, net metering, DT metering, integration etc. Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of secure, scalable integrations between field devices and backend systems. Work cross-functionally with Software, Validation, Cloud, and Managed Services teams to ensure seamless orchestration and control flows. Own the gap sensing and solution blueprinting process for field interoperability, scalability, and SLA-driven platforms. Perform continual solution Gap-Analysis and orchestrate & work towards achieving alignment with the customers specified needs & expectations. Participate in customer requirement studies, BoQ formulation, pre-sales solutioning, and bid responses with technical clarity. Ensure regulatory and DISCOM-specific compliance across architecture, interfaces, and data models. Represent the company in technical governance forums and external technical committees as needed. Required Skills & Experience 57 years of experience strictly in Smart Metering (AMI) domain in Tier I AMISP or OEM environment. Strong understanding of AMI architecture including HES, MDMS, network topology, DLMS/COSEM standards. Hands-on experience integrating multi-vendor meters with standard protocols and enterprise IT systems. Fluency in industry best practices and evolving standards in the smart utility space. Experience working across RF Mesh, NB-IoT, and cellular smart metering technologies. Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, and ISO standards applicable to energy metering systems. Ability to bridge field, firmware, and cloud expectations while influencing product and platform decisions. Excellent communication and technical documentation skills. Preferred Background Worked with one or more reputed Tier I AMISP/OEMs delivering large-scale smart metering solutions. B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering from a reputed institution. Demonstrates ethical conduct, field pragmatism, and systems-level ownership mindset. Experience working with state DISCOMs or central utilities in solutioning and commissioning is highly valued. Comfortable with multi-stakeholder coordination involving customer IT teams, system integrators, and device vendors. Authority & Strategic Impact Own solution design integrity and scalability for all AMISP projects.
