Responsible for leading firmware development while providing oversight on hardware design activities for embedded products. Acts as the primary link between hardware and embedded software teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end embedded firmware development (C/C++, RTOS, Linux BSP where applicable). Provide technical leadership for MCU/SoC bring-up, hardwarefirmware integration, and debugging. Oversee hardware design (schematics, PCB layout, validation, and compliance). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, testing, manufacturing, quality). Drive design reviews, ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Mentor and guide junior engineers in both hardware and firmware areas. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for hardware components, prototypes, and evaluation boards. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors/Masters in Electronics, Electrical, or related field. 812 years of experience in embedded product development. Strong hands-on experience with MCUs and SoCs (ARM Cortex, STM32, TI Sitara, NXP i.MX, or similar). Proven track record in firmware development (C/C++, device drivers, RTOS/Linux) and understanding hardware design (schematics, PCB tools). Experience with debugging tools (oscilloscopes, JTAG, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers). Exposure to EMI/EMC, safety, and industry compliance standards (industrial/automotive preferred) is good to have.
