Embedded Hardware & Software Engineer Company: Leiton India (Also known as Siarvin PCB solutions Pvt Ltd) Location: Bangalore Experience: 5+ years Education: Graduate or Post Graduate in Electronics or a related field Travel Requirement: Candidates must be willing to travel to the company's PCBA manufacturing site in Hong Kong for training purposes (Initial 6Months). Job Description: We are a Germany based company seeking an experienced Embedded Electronics Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electronics and communication engineering, a hands-on approach to embedded system design, and proficiency in software tools relevant to micro-controller firmware design and PCBA design & manufacturing. The candidate should be a proactive learner, capable of adapting to new challenges, and open to international training opportunities. Requirements: Following items are a must: Deep knowledge of C Knowledge of the ARM Architecture Good knowledge about Serial Interfaces, such as RS232 and SPI. Knowledge of various electronic components, such as resistors, caps and ICs Experience with embedded design tools, such as Keil, IAR, J-Link Sufficient knowledge of Assembler Proficiency in usage of Schematics and PCB CAD tools, preferable Altium General understanding of Gerber Files and PCB technologies Good hand soldering skills Proficiency in spoken and written English Following items would be of advantage: Working under Linux command line environment and working with FTP clients Knowledge about USB Interfaces GUI Software Design experience under Windows Further knowledge about C++, Delphi, Arduino, Raspberry Pi Mathematical fundamentals especially in Statistics, Linear Algebra and Fourier Transformation Usage of PSpice Knowledge about SQL and MongoDB Previous experience with In-Circuit Testing, AOI, Data Logging, Automation Previous usage of AutoCAD, Solidworks, Remote Desktops, LaTeX Additional foreign language skills Key Responsibilities Production Testing: Study project requirements and suggest an automation-focused testing plan to our engineering management Circuit and PCB Design for production testing platforms Embedded MCU software design for testing platforms Optional: Windows GUI design for interactive test platforms If needed then assemble testjig board in India Debug circuitry and MCU software Update and debug MCU or GUI software remotely in our Hong Kong/China plant via a Remote Desktop Work together with our Chinese staff members to debug and improve test Key Responsibilities New Designs: Study project requirements and suggest design implementation to engineering management and client Circuit design including PSpice simulations and application of mathematical concepts, such as Linear Algebra and Fourier Transformations PCB design while working together with our mechanical department MCU software design for testing platforms If needed then assemble samples / test boards in India Debug Circuitry and MCU software Create production documents, such as Assembly drawings and BOM and support our Hong Kong team implementing serial production Extensive software documentation Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electronics engineering and embedded design, with exposure to PCBA manufacturing preferred. Good experience in MCU design and debugging tools Experience in PCB design tools and understanding of Gerber files. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to engage in continuous learning. Preferred Candidate Attributes: Passionate about electronics and embedded design A proactive learner willing to undergo intensive training, including international travel.
