MCC Panel / Electrical Design Engineer

As a MCC Panel Design Engineer at VaCom Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., your role is crucial in driving the MCC panel design and manufacturing process. You will be responsible for understanding project requirements, designing Motor Control Centers (MCC) for the refrigeration industry, preparing techno-commercial proposals, and collaborating with assembly, engineering, and commissioning teams. Your knowledge of CAD software, electrical load calculation, and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the project requirements thoroughly. - Design Motor Control Centers (MCC) incorporating VFDs, starters, circuit breakers, and controls for the refrigeration industry. - Utilize CAD software to create single line diagrams (SLD), control circuits, detailed GA drawings, and BOM. - Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals for projects. - Collaborate with assembly, engineering, and commissioning teams throughout the assembly, testing, and startup phases. - Stay updated with design requirements such as ANSI/IEEE, NEMA, and UL standards. Skills & Competencies: - Proficiency in CAD design of electrical panels. - Strong understanding of electrical load calculation and component selection. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in diverse teams. - Capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Travel: - Travel may be required for this role, but it is not frequent.
