This role is crucial for managing and enhancing our security posture by providing expert-on-site support, troubleshooting, and leading security initiatives across a diverse range of technologies. You'll be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions, with the ability to mentor junior team members and engage directly with customers. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert-level support for a wide array of security devices and technologies, ensuring optimal performance and resilience. Lead incident response for escalated security incidents, driving resolution and root cause analysis. Participate in design discussions with customers, offering recommendations and insights for security architecture enhancements. Conduct design reviews, identify potential vulnerabilities, and propose robust security solutions. Perform complex configuration changes, upgrades, and design modifications across various security platforms. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their technical growth and troubleshooting capabilities. Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions. Stay updated with the latest security threats, technologies, and industry best practices. Required Skills & Experience: 9+ years of experience in security devices and technologies. Proven expertise in troubleshooting and managing at least 6-7 technologies from the list below, with working knowledge across 8-10 technologies . Experienced developer with at least 2 + yrs of experience using Python programming language, REST API and JSON. Must have basic SQL knowledge. Experience working in ServiceNow SOAR is also an added advantage Strong oral, written and listening skills are an essential component to effective consulting. Strong background in network administration. Ability to work at all layers of the OSI models, including being able to explain communication at any level is necessary. Should have strong hands-on experience with scripting technologies like Python, REST, JSON, SOAP, ODBC, XML etc. Must have honours degree in a technical field such as computer science, mathematics, engineering or similar field Minimum 2 years of working in SOAR (Splunk) Experience in Process Development, Process Improvement, Process Architecture, and Training Quick to apprehend and adapt new applications.
