Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets. Identify and penetrate new markets and business opportunities within the South India region. Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, freight forwarders, and logistics partners. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets. Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of competitor activities and industry trends. Operations Management: Oversee and optimize the entire courier and cargo operations, including pick-up, sorting, line-haul, and final-mile delivery. Ensure all operational processes are efficient, cost-effective, and adhere to global quality standards. Manage and control the P&L for the South India region, including budgeting and cost management. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and service levels. Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulations related to logistics and customs. Network Partner (Franchise) Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new Network Partners (Franchise) across South India to expand our operational footprint. Develop and implement a strategy for sustainable franchise growth and network expansion. Provide ongoing support and guidance to franchise partners to ensure they meet performance and quality standards. Ensure seamless integration of franchise operations with our global network. Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across both sales and operations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Strategic Planning & Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, operational metrics, and market insights. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and networking events.
