Key Responsibilities ​Sales & Business Development: ​Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets. ​Identify and penetrate new markets and business opportunities within the South India region. ​Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, freight forwarders, and logistics partners. ​Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets. ​Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of competitor activities and industry trends. ​Operations Management: ​Oversee and optimize the entire courier and cargo operations, including pick-up, sorting, line-haul, and final-mile delivery. ​Ensure all operational processes are efficient, cost-effective, and adhere to global quality standards. ​Manage and control the P&L for the South India region, including budgeting and cost management. ​Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and service levels. ​Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulations related to logistics and customs. ​Network Partner (Franchise) Development: ​Identify, evaluate, and onboard new Network Partners (Franchise) across South India to expand our operational footprint. ​Develop and implement a strategy for sustainable franchise growth and network expansion. ​Provide ongoing support and guidance to franchise partners to ensure they meet performance and quality standards. ​Ensure seamless integration of franchise operations with our global network. ​Team Leadership & Management: ​Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across both sales and operations. ​Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability. ​Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. ​Strategic Planning & Reporting: ​Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, operational metrics, and market insights. ​Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. ​Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and networking events.
