Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to lead the School, ensuring academic excellence, holistic development, and effective school administration. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of the matriculation curriculum , and a passion for shaping young minds. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the school in alignment with the management’s vision. Oversee academic planning, implementation, and review as per the Tamil Nadu Matriculation syllabus. Ensure compliance with all regulations set by the Directorate of Matriculation Schools, Tamil Nadu. Supervise and support teaching and non-teaching staff; conduct regular evaluations and professional development. Monitor student progress and ensure high standards of academic achievement and discipline. Facilitate a positive school environment focused on student well-being, safety, and values-based education. Organize school events, annual day, PTA meetings, and community engagement activities. Manage school operations including admissions, timetable, examinations, staff allocation, and infrastructure needs. Prepare and manage the school budget in coordination with the management. Act as the point of contact for parents, education authorities, and other stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience: Postgraduate degree in any discipline (preferably in Education or related field). B.Ed./M.Ed. is mandatory. Minimum 10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role. Prior experience in a Matriculation school setup is highly preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
