Key Responsibilities : Manage product testing and validation for critical power supply system, including SMPS, AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters, UPS and telecom battery backups. Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, turnaround time, and product quality. Qualification & Skill Sets: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Engineering. Strong knowledge in DC power systems, telecom site power architecture, and backup solutions. Hands-on experience in testing SMPS, batteries, power electronics, and telecom energy systems. Highly proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems using devices like power analyzer, oscilloscope and Hi-pot testers. Proficient in customer inspections and FAT processes. Skilled in applying problem-solving techniques such as 5-Why, 8D, and Fishbone analysis. Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including MODBUS TCP/IP, CAN, RS485, and RS232, SPI. Familiarity with national and international testing standards, including ETSI, IEC, BIS, and CE. Basic Knowledge in programming with C#, C++, and Python for test automation. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to issue resolution. Knowledge in analytical tools such as LabVIEW and MATLAB (preferred). Ability to lead teams, manage schedules efficiently and coordinate across multiple departments for seamless operations. Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001:2015, EMS ISO 14001:2015, and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards, ensuring compliance and operational excellence. Preferred Traits: Experience in telecom OEMs or power product companies. Exposure to type test, FAT, reliability test and environmental testing. Knowledge of EMI/EMC testing is an added advantage.

Role Responsibilities: Leadership: · Communicating with leadership team effectively with clear and precise results. · Use engineer skills in performing calculation, following engineering best practices and sound judgements during product development. · Create engineering processes and procedures to enable successful product launches. · Conduct Design review with Internal and external reviewers · Roughly 10% leadership, and 90% Individual contributor work Individual Contributor: · Ideation, designing, prototyping, and developing as per product requirements · Design and development AC-DC, DC-DC converters for battery charging applications · Design and Develop Motor controllers for EV’s. · Responsible for creating schematics, PCB design in Altium designer/Kicad/Orcad · Performance testing at various load conditions of the designed converters · Research in Latest Power conversation Topologies to again efficiency and compact form factor · Designing Magnetics like Transformers, Inductors, and Chokes for the power converters. · Power converters simulations and comparing the results with real prototypes · Develop and fabricate functional prototypes and test methods to validate new concepts. Collaborate closely with suppliers to develop manufacturable parts, minimize cost, and maximize consistency. Complete design cycles from concepts to fully validated production designs. Support service, manufacturing, and purchasing as needed to ensure parts and designs are successfully implemented in mass production. · Lead cost reduction efforts for mature products · Generate engineering documentation for automation systems · Work with global suppliers to ensure product and manufacturing process quality Required Qualifications: · M.Tech in Power Electronics · Experience with Designing AC-DC converter, DC-DC converters up to 10kW · Working Knowledge on Motor Control using FOC is a Plus · Expert in Schematic and PCB design using ECAD tools with minimum guidance · Attention to detail and dedication to thoroughness and engineering procedures · Strong knowledge in designing Magnetic components for a specified application · Ability to calculate resistive loss, eddy currents, hysteresis, and flux loss in magnetic components · Stong knowledge in Analog and Digital control of power converters. · Strong knowledge of EMI / EMC certification and environmental compliances – UL /IEC / RoHS / REACH etc. · Sound experience on simulation tools like PSpice, LTSpice, Matlab, etc. · Experience with printed circuit board layout design involving tools like Altium is preferred · Designing to meet EMC/EMI standards is preferred. · Good understanding of single phase and 3 phase converters is preferred Education: · M.Tech in Power Electronics Experience: · Minimum of 4-5 years of related experience in Power Electronics or Research in Power electronics Work Location : · Hyderabad, Telangana, India Benefits: · Flexible work hours (core working hours 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
