Proficiency in optical design software or equivalent. Strong understanding of geometrical optics, physical optics, and photon optics principles. Experience with optomechanical integration and system-level design considerations. Familiarity with optical fabrication and metrology techniques. Hands-on experience in laboratory testing and optical alignment procedures. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar programming tools for optical simulations is a plus.
