Maths Teacher

The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students. The teacher will help students develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation in mathematical concepts in alignment with the ICSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the ICSE syllabus.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to evaluate student understanding.
• Use creative and interactive teaching methods to make mathematics engaging.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing feedback and support.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Organize and assist with math-related activities, competitions, and exhibitions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings and training programs.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
• Ensure classroom discipline and maintain a safe, respectful environment for learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Training: B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a reputed school (ICSE/CBSE preferred).
• Skills:
• Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
• Ability to engage students with innovative teaching methods.
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with technology-based teaching tools (smart boards, digital platforms).
