Your primary role will involve providing statistical analysis, interpretations, and revisions for heart disease and stroke prevention materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the Division priorities by contributing to publications in peer-reviewed journals and conducting ad-hoc statistical analysis. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide statistical analysis, interpretations, and revisions for heart disease and Stroke prevention materials such as Million Hearts, Interactive Atlas, and Healthy People 2030. - Contribute to at least two publications per year in peer-reviewed journals supporting Division priorities using datasets like NHANES, CMS, BRFSS, NVSS, Medicare, Market scan, etc. - Conduct ad-hoc statistical analysis to support heart disease and stroke prevention activities. - Collaborate with division scientists on data analysis projects, including developing methodologies and creating data tables to address research questions. **Qualifications Required:** - Must possess a Master's degree or higher in Statistics or Biostatistics. - Intermediate or advanced experience using statistical software (SAS, SUDAAN, R) is required. - Previous experience in analyzing large datasets such as NHANES, NVSS, Medicare, BRFSS is highly preferred. - Knowledge of CVD and CVD risk factor epidemiology is a plus.
