You should have a qualification of ITI/Diploma/BE in Mechanical/CAD-CAM/Production Engineering to be considered for the position of CNC-VMC Setter Operator. In this role, you will report to the Supervisor/Operation Manager and be responsible for various tasks including operating CNC/VMC machines, preparing daily production reports, and ensuring the quality of parts. To excel in this position, you should have proven experience as a CNC/VMC operator and be familiar with controls such as HAAS, Mitsubishi, and Fanuc. Additionally, you must possess knowledge of cutting tools, cutting parameters, G Code, and M Code. Proficiency in operating CNC machines, utilizing precision measurement tools, and reading engineering drawings is essential. A successful candidate will also have computer knowledge with a basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM. It is important to be skilled in handling measuring instruments like Vernier caliper, Height gauge (TRIMOS), Micrometer, and various other gauges. Knowledge of GD&T, mechanical engineering, and good mathematical skills are required. Furthermore, you should be able to coordinate with the QC team, provide training to trainee operators, and possess good communication abilities. A keen eye for detail and a result-driven approach are also crucial for this role.,
