Analytical skills are key for this role, as you will be required to evaluate data output from simulation models and provide recommendations for clients. Applying mathematical operations to theoretical and practical manufacturing and industrial situations is part of the job scope. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary for collaborating with client team members, understanding modeling requirements, and conveying recommendations based on the problem statement. Knowledge of Layout Analysis, Operations research, Plant optimization, Discrete Event simulation, and Methods Engineering is advantageous. Experience with Monte Carlo analysis and other parametric experiments to evaluate system changes is desired.
