As a Lab Technician in the Leather industry, your primary responsibility will be to manage all laboratory operations within our manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for fresh diploma holders in Leather Technology who possess the skills to conduct comprehensive lab testing procedures and chemical analysis independently. Your duties will include preparing chemical solutions and reagents for daily testing, conducting titration procedures for various chemical determinations, performing extraction procedures for fat and oil content determination, and handling acid-base titrations for pH and buffering capacity measurements. In addition to laboratory work, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed test logs, recording daily testing schedules and sample tracking information, documenting equipment calibration records and maintenance schedules, preparing technical test reports with graphical data representation, maintaining chemical inventory records, and creating batch-wise testing summaries and trend analysis reports. To qualify for this position, you must have completed 12th Standard and hold a 3-year Diploma in Leather Technology. You should have a strong foundation in leather chemistry, testing procedures, and quality control methods, as well as an understanding of leather manufacturing processes and chemical applications. No prior experience is required as freshers are welcome to apply. You should have knowledge of chemical analysis techniques and laboratory procedures, the ability to perform mathematical calculations for chemical concentrations and test results, and an understanding of defects and quality assessment criteria.
