Knowledge of testing web-based applications and API testing will be beneficial, along with familiarity with testing methodologies, bug reporting, and bug lifecycle processes. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a customer support background are essential for success in this position. Candidates with testing certifications such as ISTQB or QAI, experience in automation testing, exposure to DevOps, and a good understanding of application support processes will have an added advantage. A proactive attitude, the ability to tackle challenging problems with innovative solutions, and a track record of academic excellence are also desired qualities for this role.
