The ideal candidate should possess a Masters or PhD in Mathematics or a related field with a strong research focus. Demonstrated expertise in mathematical theory and applications through published research is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to creatively approach complex mathematical challenges. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. Preferred qualifications include experience in interdisciplinary research projects combining mathematics with other scientific domains and familiarity with computational tools and software for mathematical modeling and analysis. Technical skills required for this role involve proficiency in mathematical software such as Mathematica, MATLAB, or Python for data analysis and model development. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their mathematical foundations is considered a plus.
