Partner with the best As Senior Engineer - Mechanical Design you will be responsible for design & development of Gas turbine & Centrifugal compressor auxiliaries/skid packaging that includes, Understanding customer specifications, deriving requirements for the design of various Mechanical Auxiliaries. Sizing and selection of various auxiliary equipment such as pumps /motors/ filters/ heat exchangers/strainers/valves. Piping design as per ASME B31.3 (pipe sizing , pressure drop calculation, material selection, reviewing piping stress analysis, piping support selection and piping layout design) Structural verification using FEA tools such as Ansys. Foundation loads calculation and skid lifting design. Leading project meetings, and travelling for Kick off / 3D model review meetings with global customers Collaborating with external engineering suppliers in the creation & review of basic engineering drawings and 3D models, with knowledge on GD&T. Providing timely communications on significant issues or developments. Participating on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues Participating as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews. Exposure to API/ASME /NFPA codes. Exposure to 3D modeling/Detailing tools like UG NX, GD&T.

Well knowledge to read, review the engineering drawing. Good knowledge in material selection , manufacturing methods , costing / budgeting. Good knowledge in tools, jigs and fixtures Conventional and unconventional machining process . Good knowledge in punching, blanking, fine blanking. Engineering change management . Desired Candidate Profile Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; knowledge of other relevant tools an added advantage.( Creo Experience is mandatory ) 5-10 years of experience in R&D (NPD & Design Engineer) role with expertise in design engineering, material selection, and product development.
