Strong knowledge of System architecture with different types of Operator workstations, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors & Actuators etc. Knowledge of different types of network protocols like BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC, and other protocols Must be proficient in wiring of starters, field devices, safety interlocks & panels Experience in the field of Industrial Automation (PLC programming/SCADA) will be added an advantage Experience in engineering, installing and commissioning of HVAC & BMS systems will be an added advantage. Must be a quick learner & should have a keen eye for problem solving Proficient in written and verbal communication Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills

SUMMARY Key Responsibilities: Design and develop welding fixtures , assembly jigs , checking gauges , ergonomic workstations , and material handling tools using SolidWorks. Create 3D CAD models , detailed 2D drawings , and BOMs in accordance with industry and company standards. Conduct design validation , DFMEA , and feasibility studies to ensure manufacturability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Maintenance for fixture implementation and feedback. Modify existing tooling and fixtures based on process improvements, quality issues, or production changes. Ensure all designs meet safety , ergonomic , and quality standards. Support the fabrication , installation , and commissioning of designed fixtures and workstations on the shop floor. Maintain a record of all designs, revisions, and technical documentation. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to lean manufacturing practices. Required Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering , Production Engineering , or related field. 2+ years of experience in fixture design, preferably in welding and assembly applications. Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes , GD&T , and material selection . Familiarity with welding processes (MIG/TIG/Spot) and assembly line operations . Understanding of ergonomics and safety standards for workstation design. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
