Duties and Responsibilities Working on Basic, FEED or detailed engineering design complied with project requirements Referring to specific duties and responsibilities Develop broad and professional engineering competencies as an expert in material selection to provide future engineering capacity with process group Accountable for successful completion of assigned engineering tasks and preparation of engineering documents Performing design activities assigned by Lead Engineer Preparation of material selection philosophy Assist in preparing of project equipment and instrument related documents for project requirement within a given time frame Review design documents drawings prepared by the design team Working with limited information, checking for accuracy of documents Refer to technical manuals to assist in preparation of project deliverables Understanding the required outcomes of a particular procedures Understand plant operational requirements Resolve non-conforming material issues. Keep up to date with new developments of standards, engineering softwares, procedures and implement it to the day to day work Exploring new and existing materials and assessing their suitability for use Versed with properties of various materials uses in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertilizer industries. Ensure the materials meet API, ASME, ASTM, NACE, other local as well as international standards Able to effectively communicate to internal and external customers Assisting Commissioning start-up teams at Sites if required. ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: B.Tech M.Tech in Metallurgical/ Mechanical engineering from reputed university and 4-9 years experience in relevant field.
