Designation : Executive/ Sr.Executive- Material Planner Department : Procurement Qualification: Any Graduate Experience: 5- 9yrs Roles & Responsibilities Liaise with the Production Planning Team and Procurement Team for timely procurement of material and to meet the customer demand. Liaise with other departments like Production Planning, QC, Supply Chain to ensure smooth flow of information and efficient coordination of activities. Liaise with suppliers regarding order status and changes in delivery dates or quantities. Plan and implement Material Production Scheduling/Planning System while managing operational and capacity constraints. Ensure that consistent materials planning processes are applied across the business. Ensure that material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively. Ensure materials are available to meet designated production schedule. Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends. Monitor MRP forecasts, inventory, production requirements, and inventory transactions. Ensure material supply meets production requirements, specifications and quality standards with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costs. Analyse and escalate the current and future requirements of the critical / non-critical materials (BOM), including preliminary specifications/documentation and date commodity is needed. Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials. Managing inventory issues / risk, schedule changes, and cancellations and ensure that contingency plans are in place.
