The PP Flute Board Machine Operator role is crucial for overseeing the efficient operation of the PP (Polypropylene) flute board extrusion and cutting machine in the production/manufacturing department at Vijayapuram location. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure high-quality board production by closely monitoring machine settings, adhering to standards, minimizing waste, and strictly following safety protocols. Your key duties will involve operating and monitoring the PP flute board manufacturing machines, setting machine parameters based on job specifications such as thickness, width, color, and GSM, inspecting raw materials for correct loading, conducting quality checks during production, identifying and reporting any machine issues promptly, performing basic maintenance and cleaning tasks, ensuring proper labeling, stacking, and dispatching of finished boards, maintaining production logs and downtime reports, and upholding safety and housekeeping guidelines on the shop floor. Additionally, you will be required to collaborate with maintenance and quality teams for preventive actions. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum educational qualification of 10th pass/ITI and ideally possess at least 3 years of experience in the PP flute board or plastic sheet extrusion industry. Technical skills required include proficiency in PP board machine operation, understanding of GSM, flute size, material mixing, and extrusion settings, along with basic troubleshooting abilities. Soft skills like attention to detail, teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to work under shift rotation are also essential. The working conditions for this position involve rotational shifts (Day/Night) on the factory floor, with exposure to heat and plastic processing fumes. It is mandatory to wear safety shoes, gloves, and a face mask at all times as part of personal protective equipment (PPE).
