Responsibilities in the Job The role incumbent is responsible for working in team of technical services for technology absorption of the new plants coming up at DCTL, reviewing data packages and providing input to support smooth startup during commissioning. Ensuring preparation/review of the schemes/ technical support for the smooth operation of the existing plant and to prepare/review the technical schemes against the improvement ideas of various plants at DCTL; Monitoring the success of the schemes implemented. Ideation, detailing and implementation of continual improvement in QCDSE (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety & Environment). 9. Evaluating existing production norms and proposal preparation for meeting and improving norms. Functional | Technical Knowledge Required for this Role : Knowledge of chemical processes and unit operations including batch and continuous. Basic process calculations e.g. Equipment sizing, line sizing. Preparation of energy and mass balance calculations. Knowledge of Excel, word & AutoCAD software. Process, SOPs and Critical parameters. Knowledge of HAZOP, HIRA and QEMS. Knowledge of ASPEN and HTRI / EDR tools is preferrable. Practical experience for preparation and reviewing of PD, PFD, PID, PDS & IPDS.
