Effluent Stream List: Quantities and characteristics of all effluent streams are defined and selection with adequacy. List of vapor emission sources with appropriate equipment selection. Utility load calculation. Evaluation of any legal requirement with consideration of storage & handling. List of adequate Vacuum system selection as per process suitability with control philosophy. Any other process engineering activities as desired by Client. Site visit as and when require, to understand actual site conditions and data collections during process engineering phase. Role & responsibilities Prepare and implement MPRs / SOPs for shop floor operations. Process optimization and capacity debottlenecking using mass/energy balances. Lead continuous improvement in yield, safety, quality, and waste reduction. Commission new products / projects: prepare BFD/PFD/P&ID/MPR/SOPs and DCS updates. Act as a process expert and trainer for production staff. Analyze utility and raw material variances; prepare management reports. Coordinate with Engineering for preventive maintenance. Investigate incidents and support operations troubleshooting. Perform additional duties assigned by the HOD. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's / Masters in Chemical Engineering. In-depth understanding of chemical/non-chemical hazards, BEP, and basic engineering. Strong HSE & Quality systems knowledge. Responsibilities in the Job The role incumbent is responsible for working in team of technical services for technology absorption of the new plants coming up at DCTL, reviewing data packages and providing input to support smooth startup during commissioning. Ensuring preparation/review of the schemes/ technical support for the smooth operation of the existing plant and to prepare/review the technical schemes against the improvement ideas of various plants at DCTL; Monitoring the success of the schemes implemented. The activities performed by the incumbent include: Responsibility: 1. Absorbing the New Plants Technology coming up at DCTL in terms of BEP absorption & assisting Head/Lead TSD for changes, if any, to ensure smooth commissioning. 2. Preparation of scheme (PD, PFD, PID, PDS/IPDS etc.) for improvement initiatives in existing and upcoming plant/product. 3. Data collation for DCTL on EC/ CTE/ CCA, from data integrity viewpoint. Monitoring and analysis of data and providing input for compliance. 4. Reviewing/ Preparation of the schemes for the Plant/ Process/ Equipment performance improvements. 5. Provide/ update the SOPs for any new change in process or equipment operation. 6. Preparation of capex proposals on savings and payback period for new modifications in the plant to improve operating convenience in the plant. 7. Supporting operation team for Management of Change (MOC) by providing schemes with complete technical backup. 8. Ideation, detailing and implementation of continual improvement in QCDSE (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety & Environment). 9. Evaluating existing production norms and proposal preparation for meeting and improving norms. Functional | Technical Knowledge Required for this Role : Knowledge of chemical processes and unit operations including batch and continuous. Basic process calculations e.g. Equipment sizing, line sizing. Preparation of energy and mass balance calculations. Knowledge of Excel, word & AutoCAD software. Process, SOPs and Critical parameters. Knowledge of HAZOP, HIRA and QEMS. Knowledge of ASPEN and HTRI / EDR tools is preferrable. Practical experience for preparation and reviewing of PD, PFD, PID, PDS & IPDS. Technical knowledge on treatment of effluents. Educational Qualification | Experience (in years) | Exposure Required: B Tech Chemical with 3-7 years of experience in Chemical process in technical services/ Process engineering/ technology transfer/Design.

Job Responsibilities :. Plan & guide Reservoir Engineering Activities for Exploration Support. Plan and execute the Reservoir modelling and simulation studies; Carry out production history matching. Plan and conduct well testing operation at well site and analyze results. Prepare monthly production plan and monitor production activities; analyze production data including reserves register maintenance. Conduct well testing for estimation of reservoir parameters. Prepare data input sets on CBM reservoir parameters and model in consultation with Geologists. Conduct reservoir simulation using Comet3/ Eclipse/ Petrel RE simulator for single/ group of wells. Conduct parametric simulation studies by varying critical reservoir parameters and operational parameters. Plan & guide Field Optimization Activities for Producing Assets, Improved Recovery Methods, etc. & QA / QC all inputs & outputs. Prepare short-term and long-term production forecasting. Guide RE staff & execute RE activities associated with JV Assets such production monitoring /analysis, Analysis of well & field Performance, Analysis of Well Intervention Opportunities, Analysis of new infill wells / revisions to field development plan, Work Programme / Budget, JV Proposal Analysis etc. Implement techno-economic analysis. Education Requirement :. Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university.
