JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Executive Colour Kitchen Location: Changodar/Bavla, Ahmedabad Company Overview Match Graphics Pvt Ltd is a leading provider of printed dcor paper products, serving customers with high-quality printing solutions. We are committed to excellence and innovation in the printing industry. Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Colour kitchen/room executive who will lead the colour management and formulation strategy across all product lines. Also, he will be responsible for achieving precise colour matching and consistency across all dcor paper print jobs. This includes developing and adjusting colour formulations, calibrating colour systems, working with ink and substrate variations, and ensuring visual and spectrophotometric colour standards are met across production batches. His role is pivotal in ensuring colour excellence, innovation, and brand consistency in decorative paper printing, with oversight of ink development, process standardization, and cross-functional coordination between design, production, and quality. Key Responsibilities: - Colour Matching & Formulation (a) Develop precise colour formulations according to client or design specifications. (b) Match colours using spectrophotometers, colour charts, or manual methods. (c) Adjust dye or ink recipes to achieve desired shades and fastness properties. - Production Oversight (a) (b) (c) Supervise colour application during printing processes. Ensure consistent colour reproduction across batches and print runs. Troubleshoot colour-related issues during production and provide corrective actions. - Quality Control (a) (b) Conduct tests to verify shade, fastness, and visual consistency. Work closely with QC teams to ensure printed outputs meet internal and external quality benchmarks. - Record Keeping & Documentation (a) Maintain detailed records of colour formulas, adjustments, and production outcomes. (b) Create and update colour libraries for future reference. Skills & Qualifications: - Technical Skills: (a) (b) Deep understanding of colour theory, ink chemistry, and paper behavior. Familiarity with colour measurement tools (e.g., spectrophotometers, light boxes). - Soft Skills: (a) (b) (c) Strong attention to detail and colour sensitivity. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills for coordination with design, production, and QC teams. Education & Experience: ¢ ¢ Diploma/Degree in Textile Chemistry, Printing Technology, or related field. 3+ year experience in a printing with direct exposure to colour management. Work Environment: May involve shift work depending on production schedules.
