Massage Therapist

As a Massage Therapist, your role is to provide professional massage and body treatments in a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment. Your focus will be on promoting relaxation, improving circulation, relieving stress and pain, and supporting the overall health and well-being of your clients. Key Responsibilities: - Perform various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage based on your certification and the needs of your clients. - Evaluate the soft tissue condition, joint quality, and muscle strength of clients to determine the appropriate treatment. - Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment notes and progress. - Provide guidance on stretching, strengthening, and relaxation techniques to complement therapy sessions. - Ensure that treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked before and after each session. - Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. - Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals. - Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and continuing education requirements. - Promote spa/clinic services, products, and wellness programs. Working Conditions: - You may work in environments such as spas, wellness centers, clinics, or fitness facilities. - A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, may be required. - You must be able to stand, bend, and perform massage techniques for long durations. Qualifications Required: - Certification in massage therapy. - Strong knowledge of various massage techniques. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to maintain client confidentiality. - Physical stamina and the ability to perform massages for extended periods.
