Job Title: Massage Therapist Job Summary: The Massage Therapist provides professional massage and body treatments to clients in a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment. This role focuses on promoting relaxation, improving circulation, relieving stress and pain, and supporting clients’ overall health and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Perform various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage (depending on certification and client needs). Evaluate clients’ soft tissue condition, joint quality, and muscle strength to determine appropriate treatment. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment notes and progress. Provide guidance on stretching, strengthening, and relaxation techniques to complement therapy sessions. Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked before and after each session. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals. Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and continuing education requirements. Promote spa/clinic services, products, and wellness programs. Working Conditions: Work environment may include spas, wellness centers, clinics, or fitness facilities. Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, may be required. Must be able to stand, bend, and perform massage techniques for long durations.
