Civil QA-QC Location: TAMNAR, Chhattisgarh JD of Civil QAQC Role Purpose Preparation, development, implementation & conformance of construction Quality systems comprising of, but not limited to, FQP, qualitative work measures, technology implementation, measurements, analysis, QA controls while ensuring Project technical & Quality compliance. Taking care of QA/QC documentation of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Techno-Quality compliances & failure-free construction realization Construction Quality assurance & Quality control tools, inspection quantum & methods, Drawing interpretation, material testing & communication tools & techniques. Periodic reporting to CQA & HP, DP & SH for regular updates of Site Quality matters Checking of Raw Material/Equipment received at site and certifying Invoices. Review of calibration certificates of Instrument/Equipment used during construction. Validation of Field marking as per drawings, excavation, PCC, raft work, shuttering, bar-bending, back-filling etc. Testing of Quality parameters for Coarse & Fine aggregates, Chemical admixtures, Concrete, reinforcement, Stone & brick masonry, Mortar etc. Field checks and assurance before handing over civil foundations for mechanical erection. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instructions. Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations. Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project. Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP. Liaise with Contractors quality Engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant. Ensuring compliance with QA requirements for structural & equipment erection, installation & commissioning. Validation of Civil work completion and project commissioning Testing with 100% QA issues addressed and all NCs closed. Finalization of QA documents handover with Vendors/Contractors Initiate & facilitate Project Closure and hand-over to operations. Secondary Responsibilities: Ensuring inspection & Testing of materials at specified frequencies in Site QC-lab or External lab as per approved QAP and validation of use of materials on basis of inspection / testing Coordinate with TPI Surveyors & Agencies on regular basis for project Quality progressions. Analysis of field data with an objective of improvement during construction Management development works – Providing inputs to training module as & when assigned. Support vendors/contractors during major maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE usage, and statutory requirements. Maintain daily checklists, logbooks, and service reports for all operations. Ensure housekeeping and upkeep of technical areas (electrical rooms, AHU rooms, pump rooms, DG rooms, etc.). Provide on-call support during emergencies and critical operations. Qualifications & Skills:ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / Plumbing or equivalent. 3–7 years of experience in facility management / building maintenance services. Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and basic civil works. Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of safety standards and emergency procedures. Basic computer skills for reporting & documentation. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
