As a Motion Graphics Designer at Grand Hypermarkets, you will have the exciting opportunity to utilize your creativity and technical skills to bring stories to life through captivating animations and visuals. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to develop impactful motion graphics that enhance our retail promotions, social media presence, and in-store communications, all aligned with our marketing objectives. Your responsibilities will include designing and animating compelling motion graphics and video assets for retail campaigns, social media, digital signage, and internal communications. You will work closely with the creative director and content team to conceptualize animated content that supports marketing goals and brand storytelling. Additionally, you will edit and assemble video content for various purposes such as promotional videos, product highlights, social reels, event coverage, and advertisements. Furthermore, you will create animated templates and motion systems for consistent use across product lines, stores, and campaigns. Your expertise will be crucial in developing visual effects, kinetic typography, lower thirds, explainer videos, and logo animations for both digital and large-format retail media. It will be essential to optimize animations and videos for different platforms including Instagram, YouTube, digital screens, and e-commerce. Your involvement in creative brainstorms will allow you to contribute original motion ideas to campaign concepts. You will be responsible for ensuring that all motion content adheres to brand guidelines, campaign tone, and platform best practices. It will also be important to stay updated with motion design trends, animation tools, and technologies to keep our content fresh and engaging. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Animation, Visual Communication, Design, or a related field, along with at least 4-6 years of professional experience in motion design or animation, preferably within retail, FMCG, or consumer-facing sectors. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of motion graphics work, including retail promotions, social campaigns, and brand storytelling, is essential. Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools is required. Experience with video editing, color grading, and sound design for short-form and digital content will be beneficial. Familiarity with 2D animation, motion tracking, masking techniques, and video compositing is also necessary. Working knowledge of 3D motion tools such as Cinema4D, Blender, or similar, will be advantageous. Moreover, any knowledge of AI tools for animation, Text to Speech, etc., will be a plus. You should have an understanding of visual hierarchy, brand consistency, and storytelling through animation. Experience in creating content for multilingual or multi-regional retail audiences is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines are essential for this full-time position.
