Role & responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategy for surgical equipment, disposables, and consumables. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best cost, quality, and terms. Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure compliance with medical standards (ISO, CE, FDA, CDSCO). Monitor supplier performance and approve new vendors based on certifications and audits. Manage inventory levels to avoid stockouts and reduce wastage/expiry. Forecast demand and align procurement with hospital/market needs. Ensure all procurement activities comply with regulatory and ethical guidelines. Prepare and manage budgets while driving cost savings initiatives. Lead, mentor, and monitor the procurement team for performance and KPIs. Implement ERP/e-procurement systems to improve efficiency and transparency.
